Decided to give this book another try as some other friends were reading it together.

I'm not quite sure why I put it down so quickly the first time, but I'm still not in love with it. Did get through to the (pretty unsatisfying) ending, and have heard that the second book is very different and better. So I guess I'll give that a try when my library hold gets in. 🙂
