I love horror novellas, they’re short and to the point and if they’re done well, they can be just as chilling and scary as epic novels. For me, this story was too short. The gore was ok, but not particularly special, four characters died in 31 pages, but i didn’t know enough about any of them to feel anything about their deaths, and overall really the whole thing was somewhat pointless. I appreciated the attempt at a plot twist, but when a book is less than 40 pages long, unless the story is really very special, there’s not enough to really warrant the use of one. I wasn’t shocked, and I didn’t care. I feel if this storyline was expanded, and much more information and detail was given it could be a winner, but to me the plot feels wasted. The authors writing style is enjoyable and I mean no harm or hate to them
