Reading this for the first time as an adult was probably a bad idea, as was listening to an audiobook of it instead of reading a physical copy. It fell short for me. I don’t understand why it’s a classic. I was incredibly bored for the last 30-40% of it.

This is my favorite book of all time. It’s so weird but it works so well and has such a good array of messages, both for children and adults. I absolutely adore the illustrations and the style of narrative.

How they get to know each other, how they survive is all the story is about! This book deals with how powerful we are with our endless imagination, how our love for something makes it beautiful,how important it is to have friend and how insignificant ,yet so special we are in this vast universe! In short this is ah-mazing! this is funny and this is beautiful in every way possible!
