I heard about Laura Dave on Jen Lancaster's website and thought that I would give her first novel a try. I'm glad that I did. The characters are interesting and the story was compelling. My only request was that I wanted MORE; the book felt short and I wanted more development of the relationships between the characters. Overall, I liked the writing and I will definitely be looking for other books by Laura Dave.

A somewhat pointless story about how everyone his secretly cheating on eachother because they’re too scared to leave what’s comfortable. Some good lines in there though like “you can’t finish what you were never meant to start”. If I had known the plot of this book before a read it, I would not have read it. But for what it was it was a fine journey.

This should have been really good, certainly from the synopsis anyway.

It just didn’t quite hit it for me, which is a real shame as I’ve loved some of her other work.

Plot kind of slow but held my interest with an intriguing question.
