This book....
I wanted to throw this book out my window EVERY SINGLE chapter. There are no words to how much I resent the MMC and basically every character except the FMC.
However, the book is well written and I think the author has done a grea job to make the reader invested in this story and the characters.
Am not so secretly hoping for proper revenge for the FMC in the following books.

I don’t even know how to write this review. I absolutely loved and hated it at the same time? The writing definitely sucked me in and I stopped every thing to read it - speeding through in 48 hrs is not for the faint of heart. The MMC is very morally grey. FMC was so intriguing and the author I think does an amazing job with her character development given the trauma the MMC has been through. This middle 1/3 if the book was a bit repetitive and slow. I couldn’t put it down. VERY DARK. CHECK TRIGGER WARNINGS. I’m both disturbed and so intrigued by this world, if it weren’t for things revealed at the end I might not have wanted to keep reading the series because of the intense slavery like aspect. I think it’s too dark for me to continue in the series.
