The story is getting kind of slow at this point…

A cute way to end the series. I think the series was good overall, but I appreciate a bit more romance, and I often found the lack of communication to be grating.

I wished this volume hadn't been weighed down by a convoluted stalker plot involving a character who was introduced in this volume. We don't know Ena and, while her story is sad, it just made for an annoying reading experience as we watch Kohei and Taichi try to solve her problem and deal with predictable misconceptions. On top of that, it takes up so much of the book that I kept watching the pages dwindle of the story I actually cared about.
Worse, Ena's relationship with Taichi was a bit too similar to Maya's. Both have feelings for Kohei and end up talking about how awesome he is with Taichi and it just made me realize that, when we don't see Yoko and Yasu, Taichi doesn't seem to have real friends outside of Kohei. I hope we at least maybe establish more of a relationship between him and Chiba? At least to balance that out a bit. Also, I think it's weird Ena held onto a crush for that long.
We see the kid that made fun of Taichi in the previous volume and I expect we'll probably get some drama when Taichi finally finds out why Kohei dragged him out of that game development party. I still can't get a read on Taichi's relationship with Ryu. I hope they're friends but it's a little hard to tell.
This book has a cliffhanger regarding Taichi's terrible parents, so I'm excited to see how that's going to work out. I'm also worried about Kohei's job prospect. Idk, I know he met the company at a fair for employment opportunities for people with disabilities, but talking about a HoH person as a means to fill a quota creeps me out.
