It has been four years since Daniel Champlain betrayed Bella Quintera or was she wrong about what happened? Can two extremely smart people with doctorates help each other with their jobs, heal each others hurt -AND- catch the bad guy? Read the story to find the answers.

Daniel and Bella meet again after Bella has created what may be the first artificial intelligence. Leery to share anything with Daniel (he works for the NSA) Bella must decide who deserves her faith and trust. Her father, colleagues and students all have secrets and it is up to Bella, and then Daniel, to figure out who is trying to harm her and steal the A.I. It is Daniel's job to protect his country but is there a place for Bella in his life and does she want him?

It took me several days to read but Ms. Nance made me feel as though I was part of the setting. I felt like I was in the cold and wind of Upper Michigan. She is very descriptive.

This is a fine who-done-it with plenty of sexual tension between the main characters. Honestly, it is rare when I cannot figure out who the 'baddie' is before the end but this story had plenty of twists and surprised me. If you are in the mood for a good contemporary romance with an edge try Ms. Nance's JIGSAW.
