ARE YOU KIDDING ME WITH THAT CLIFFHANGER????

This is one of the longest book I have ever read.. over a thousand pages, but I loved every second of it!!

This series will forever be my Roman Empire and I quite literally cannot wait for the final book.

I also saw Penn Cole confirm that there's a significant death in the next book and I truly not prepared.

There were a few aspects of the book that pissed me off regarding some of the decisions Diem made, but I love when books make me feel all the emotions, so l'm letting it go for now, but Diem I swear if Vance doesn't die in the next book, I'm crawling into the book myself and doing it.

4.5 stars really.
I think it would have been a five star if it was soo long I think there were parts that could have been cuts to this book but overall it was still a great book, a huge cliff hanger though and so disappointing the last book still has not been released or even given an estimate of a new release date but I am interested to see how everything is concluded I am sure it will be just as epic and beautiful as these last few books!

Drawn out repeated tropes and too long

I'm so mad at how this ends. There was also a lot of faffing around that I feel like could have been cut

I’m disappointed by this one after enjoying the first 2 as much as I did. I felt this was so slow, and too long.
Will I read the final book? Yes, I have to know how this ends…. And I hope the next book is as good as the first 2…

It’s a fun read. The main character is a bit frustrating. Author knows how to write an ending though!

Dim Diem and Dollar store Rhysand stumble from kingdom to kingdom for no discernable reason except to ride the train to the next plot point, missing obvious clues, making bad decisions, and falling deeper into their weird codependent relationship along the way. Girlfriend goes from swinging a sword to panicked screaming in the streets for her man in the space of a minute. Dude refuses to tell her NO even when she's about to get everyone killed (again). Not. Healthy.
Luthor's POV with a different narrator was awful. I had to pause the book because I was laughing at the sudden faux British accent after the normal narrator has spent 2.75 books doing him in her usual accent.
I have also come to hate everyone in this series. None of them have enough redeeming qualities to make me root for them. I didn't dnf because I was already halfway through when things started to go from "this is cliche" to "DIEM YOU ARE SUCH A STUPID -@&#+!" But I won't be picking up the fourth installment.
