The first grader books are much nicer than the previous books. It seems she is starting to get her attitude in check.
I'll be honest, this book did not make me wish I had access to trick or treating at all. 🤣

In just a few short years I would go from Junie B. picking out the scariest "Squirty the Clown" costume to get over her fear of Halloween to Carly Beth picking out the scariest Haunted Mask and making me terrified of masks and Halloween.

This is the third best Junie B. book. It makes me laugh ALOT.
Once again the Junie B. books are cute, but there really wasn't any development in this story. I felt like Junie B. got away with being disrespectful and bratty at parts of this with nobody really doing anything about it and overall I didn't like this as much as I've liked other books in this series.
