Hesitant with all the hype surrounding this book, but yep. Totally deserving. Fast paced con-woman story that was slightly predictable but it didn’t make it any less enjoyable. Perfect summer read.

WOW! What an amazing debut novel into the adult world! This was exactly what you want out of a thriller, talk about TWISTY. I actually gasped multiple times & could not figure out what was actually going to happen. Very impressed!!
Lucca, Wendy, Regina, Evie… whatever name she’s going by is a badass! A small town southern girl who lost her mom early in life has to figure out how to survive on her own. She gets mixed up with Mr. Smith, completing jobs for him that put her in all sorts of illegal situations. When she realizes that he may not have her back like he wants her to believe, she hatches a plan of her own. And you won’t see the end result coming!
