This book 🙌🏻🙌🏻 every single book in this series is so good. Wren and Jack might just be my new favorite! This was such a fun quick read. I couldn’t put it down.

For the genre, it's better than a 4.0 but does not meet a 5. Obviously was very spice-heavy, but it didn't feel over the top or forced. The only thing I didn't like was how back-and-forth Wren was for at least half the book (and the medical jargon felt forced at times, like the author was trying to prove she knew what the words meant), but it wasn't enough to make the reading insufferable. Jack had me swooning and Wren felt like a real person.

Teddy Hamilton as Doctor Jackie Kincaid opens up the book at a Halloween costume party. However, he didn’t realize it was a costume party. He was able to get a quick costume from the host as a vampire then runs into Cinderella. That first chapter is fire but also leaves you with your mouth agape, possibly cackling, at the end.

Samantha Brentmoor narrates as Wren Fritz. Wren is disguised as Cinderella. The problem? Jack is her older brother’s best friend. The next problem? Jack just took her v-card. When Jack and Wren realize who’s behind the masks/costumes, Jack is hesitant but Wren entices him. That scene leaves you fanning yourself. You experience Wren’s feelings by how Samantha narrates towards the end of the second chapter.

I appreciate the different voices for each character. I got lost in the story and caught on the love to hate each other. The section with the Fritz gals text messaging?! Samantha seamlessly changes her voice for each character. They had me cackling.

The TEXT MESSAGES!!!! There are so many good lines that I can’t wait to highlight in a book!

Thank you to Valentine PR for a providing the free ALC that I voluntarily reviewed.

Enjoyed rereading this story a second time around. There was so many areas that I highlighted.

Don’t know why I didn’t DNF. The writing was pretty rough, repetitive and downright boring at times. Add in the fact that every romance trope was either used with the two MC’s or referenced by all the other characters around them was just too much. By my count their were at least three fake relationships mentioned and the brothers best friend trope was just repeated from two other characters.

Some of the writing is pretty cheesy :’). But still  great story
