Antes de empezar esta reseña les quiero decir que tiene spoilers. Sea así, continúen o no la lean.
Al principio no me había molestado tanto, ya después de digerirlo. ¿QUE PEDO CON ESTA MADRE?
Las dos estrellas que tiene se las gana por el arte, la verdad los dibujos están bonitos y muy bien hechos. Pero la historia que pedo. Siento que hasta en un punto utiliza cosas muy serias como bombardeos en el medio oriente y sufrimiento de personas para contarnos una historia que está DE LA VERGA.
La historia es de una morra que anda con un señor y de repente el señor desaparece, y desaparece más o menos al mismo tiempo que hay un bombardeo entonces esta morra busca a los familiares del señor, este señor tiene 2 hijos y pues se acerca a uno de ellos y juntos viven la aventura de ¡buscar juntos al papá!
¡Pero esperen hay más! Mientras investigan acerca del papá, ellos se vuelven tan cercanos que se enamoran.
Para que después se den cuenta que su papá/amante estuvo vivo todo el tiempo, solo es un hijo de puta que se fue a formar otras dos familias a otro lugar.
Para el final hay que explicar algo, el hijo, tiene un resentimiento muy grande a su papá, ya saben bad parenthood y esos rencores que casi todos tienen. Entonces mientras esta muchacha y el hijo están teniendo el coito, la muchacha le dice y cito: "like father like son"
OHHHHH NOOO YOU DIDN'T!!!! Obviamente el dude se enoja y pus se va pla pla pla drama drama.
Y el final es de lo más pendejo. El dude se da cuenta de alguna manera mágica musical porque nunca lo explican por que. Que tiene que buscarla y pues va y se sube a un árbol y luego no puede bajar y ella le dice brinca y el lo hace y mientras está brincando FIN.
Pero bueno al menos los dibujitos estan bonitos. ¿eh?

Modan is at once a great storyteller and a great illustrator, which is not a very frequent combination in graphic novelists.
She has a great sense for the humorous dramatic, tension and the flow of dialogue and I love how she captures motions and gestures so well

Interesting story about a man searching for his father with his father's lover who is close to his own age. Graphic novel is about the secrets we keep, how we interpret our families' histories differently, and how we identify ourselves as a part of that family as well as separately. Best thing about this one is the art style. Very simplistic, but the writer/artist is able to convey great detail in the characters' expression with just a few simple lines. Ending may be considered abrupt by some, but it fit the story and its themes well.
