This was ADORABLE. At first I was like “who would want to say the name ‘Kevin’ in bed?” And then Kevin was like HOLD MY BEER. Man knows how to please a woman, fer shure. But also the way he was with Stella and the way he never gave up on proposing to Jane. SO CUTE I LOVED IT!

I've read so many Kat Baxter books and with all of them I fall in love with their characters. This one didn't disappoint. I loved Kevin and Jane. They had an unconventional beginning, but they really showed that they cared deeply about one another.

Revised and expanded version of a short story in a previous anthology. But nothing better than a man in uniform. Add in an oops baby and a whole lot of sass, and Kat has another winner.
Even though it was a shock to him, it didn’t take long for Kevin to man up and care for Stella, as soon as he saw her eyes, he just knew she was his. And he was going to do what he needed to get the family he never had. He just needed to realize that her mom wanted a bit more.
I loved how Jane didn’t just say yes right off the bat. She knew what she needed and if Kevin couldn’t give it to her, then why just fall into his arms? Now falling into his bed (or the teacher’s desk)…..well, that’s a whole ‘nother story!
A short cute contemporary sweet read. I was laughing out loud and found myself giving a proverbial high five for both Kevin and Jane by the end.

4.6 stars. This was an adorable, funny read. Hot sweet male, funny sexy female with an instant connection. I started this book in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep. I was hooked and just finished it and plan on going back to sleep. Kevin and Jane are sweet, funny and just too cute for words. I really enjoyed this story.

Jane realizes she’s pregnant and raises their daughter, Stella, on her own, until Kevin comes back. He’s shocked about Stella and isn’t sure about raising a daughter given his upbringing, but he wants to do right by Jane and Stella. This was a great on night to forever romance. It was a short, well written story that had a great flow. I was hooked from the beginning and just loved the way Jane and Kevin met. They had instant chemistry but still had some work ahead of them to reach their HEA.
