What a beautiful book, I love Backman! I might've enjoyed it more had I read it around Christmas, but it was still a good experience.

A little small novella about a father going through a very fast realization about the price of life. I think that I carry a little bit of each Backman novel as I go through life. This is my favorite quote from this book:

”You’re not scared. You’re just grieving. No one tells you humans that your sorrow feels like fear.”/ “What are we grieving?”/“Time.”
