Wow!!! I have wanted to read this book for a long while. I found it on Kindle Unlimited and immediately borrowed it then finished it in under 24hrs. The only disappointing part is that the second book is not out yet.
I enjoyed the characters in this brutal book. It was confronting and sad and courageous! I loved it all. I cannot wait for the second book and see what happens next with Nina and the team.

Nině Guerrerové se v šestnácti letech podařilo uprchnout sériovému vrahovi, ten se pro ni o jedenáct let později vrací. A odplata bude sladká.
Geniální! Není divu, že Šifra sklízí u nás i v zahraničí takové ohlasy. Tohle je thriller, kterému hned od první strany propadnete a jen těžko ho odkládáte. Neustále jsem měla nutkání číst dál a dál, i když bylo už po půlnoci.
Je to strhující, nervy drásající příběh a já tomu nemám co vytknout. Skvěle popsané charaktery se silnou hlavní hrdinkou a jedním psychopatem, který vám nedá spát.
Sama autorka Isabella Maldonado nosila odznak FBI a ještě k tomu je to brilantní vypravěčka. Už teď se nemůžu dočkat jejího dalšího případu s Ninou Guerrerovou.

I’ll say I enjoyed this book despite some elements. First issue I have is with content: There was this sense that the author kept a thesaurus at hand and threw words in that didn’t quite fit, but they were selected as she didn’t want to reuse the same words. Secondly, the reader gets an unnecessary amount of description in some areas, as if it’s always important to describe the manner in which one character hands another a laptop, or someone padding across the floor were relevant. Save that for the screenplay.
