Meh. A delusional, semi-self-destructive Diana impersonator. Her whiny, willfully ignorant sister. And a mostly awful bunch of men. I mean, what good could come of this? Plus, aside from the murders, when the family mystery is explained, it’s not clear if Chrissy even knows what happened. Ugh. This felt messy and kind of stupid, with no one to root for except maybe Nigel. And Marisa. Marisa was an awesome character: bright, sharp-witted, and funny. Unfortunately, she only got a paragraph here and there, buried in the agonizing of the sisters. I want a book about her, with Chrissy and Betsy as the peripheral characters.
P.S. How many times in one book can multiple women go along with potentially violent men and not raise holy hell in a public place?!? Sheesh!

I usually love this author but this book just didn’t hold my interest. I felt like a good portion of the book was explaining crypto and that took away from the mystery, which turned out to be not much of a mystery at all. The characters to me felt slightly unbelievable in terms of their motivations. The ending was satisfying but nothing profound.

Interesting tale of family and international crime syndicates woven into a Vegas show dedicated to the late Princess Diana.

I started slow but I think it was more me than the book - I picked it up thinking it was something else & the genre wasn’t what I had in mind. Once I was able to settle down with it, I was hooked though. The pacing was enough that I enjoyed it while reading but was also able to put it down when needed & I didn’t lose the plot. I did get a few secondary characters confused here & there but not sure that really mattered. Overall, it kept me guessing & I loved the setting and the setup with a Diana impersonator.
