This was a really good read. I learned a lot about his take on life, about his life and how he thinks. The only thing that bored me was how long the book was. I like that he had so much he was willing to share, although it took soooo long for me to finally get to the end of the book. I feel accomplished not that finished his story. Thank you Matthew for sharing your life on paper. j.k. livin🟢🟢🟢

AUDIOBOOK

I recommend this! I am biased because I am a huge fan of his acting. This was a good mix of weird stories, laughing until I'm crying stories, and inspiring stories. I loved how he read it, the announcement of 'prescription', 'bumper sticker', and 'green light'. I think him reading the book is what really made it so great. This wouldn't be as entertaining as a physical book. A couple noteworthy quotes.

While I'll admit some of his stories are entertaining, and I did enjoy getting the full backstory on the naked bongo playing arrest from my college years, ultimately this became an annoying story of white male privilege. The theme came across as,"If you want to be successful in life, pursue your dreams, travel, and leave your mark, just be a beautiful, charming white male and opportunities will fall in your lap."

MM is definitely an interesting person, and I respect the professional direction he has taken in recent years, but I'm not exactly sure how his 'greenlight' experiences translate to the general population.
