DID NOT FINISH: 6%

I guessed the ending of the first two stories almost immediately, so it felt like a waste of time.
adventurous funny medium-paced

Enjoyable, more 3.5, highlights how well the spirit was adapted in the show!

Very entertaining, if only the author wasn't so sexist 🙃

A really enjoyable reading for detective stories fans or people who love mystery and adventure.
Sir Lupin is within doubt an awesome character who will stole your heart (among other things).

High potential book to read right before bed.

Arsène Lupin #1, Gentleman Thief (Arsène Lupin #1) by Maurice Leblanc has always been on my radar and I knew the general idea of the stories before now, but I'm glad I finally decided to start in on the series. The stories included here are a lot of fun even if some of them are a bit spare. The illustrations in this edition suit it so well. Now I need to read the rematch between Arsen Lupin and Herlock Sholmes!
