It just didn’t do it for me. I feel like I still know nothing about them. It was boring and slow so many scenes started great but then fizzled out.

Let’s start with the positives: It did have pretty good summer vibes. I wanted to know what was happening with the resort.
Ok that’s about it. The negatives: I hated the characters! The couple were both just pretty terrible people and I didn’t find their story romantic at all. This book really tried to redeem Fern, but she was just a selfish bitch the whole time, who never appreciated her mother enough. Blech. The only character I liked was the dead mom haha
