The story line of a family coming to know and love each other, the sister having Turners syndrome, was good. The novel just seemed to drug out to me. To many long explanations, to many repeated memories, and it focuses more on the past then what their doing in the present.

Fluffy, fluffy summer fluff. I did read the entire book, and it was as engaging as you would expect, but it is summery and light and easy to follow (predict)-- everything you would want in good summer fluff.

This is a good summer read. The characters are perfectly flawed.

This book has drawn me in from the first page. I enjoyed reading this book although I found some of the characterization to be a bit discouraging-especially the character of Paulette. I understand that the "condition" that is discussed throughout (Gwen's Turner's Syndrome) is a metaphor for the human condition. It is certainly not an uplifting, positive read.

This was only the second audio book I've listened to but I really got into it. I found myself making exclaimations and facial reactions to some of the events. It really is a great story about family relations, communication and has some informative points about Turner's syndrome.
