ART JUST PURE ART, God, I cried so much with this book, anxiety, anguish, anger, happiness EVERYTHING happened to me with this book, I really suffered a lot reading it but it is art, it is totally worth it and the peace I felt with the resolution

P.S.: I kinda hate that
the epilogue is Shannon's POV and ends with a scene of her and Johnny. Don't get me wrong, I love the couple, but it seemed more appropriate for the epilogue to focus on Joey and Aoife

My eyes hurt from all the crying and reading I've done.

This book continues right where Saving 6 left of. We basically get all of Keeping 13 from Joey's perspective and omg I thought that was horrible, but Joey's POV was brutal. We also get to see the decline of his mental health and his struggles with addiction in all forms.

Oh Joey. Oh Aoife. I just want to hug them. Joey suffered so much. And Aoife was incredibly loyal to the end. But they were both kids and they didn't deserve that. Joey's troubles were so many and so heavy, I don't understand how strong Aoife remained till the end. But by the end of the book, I was so damn proud of them. They'll be okay, I know it.

Spoiler
The list of people that I want to throttle grows: I still think Paul should fall in a ditch, but maybe suffer a little bit less. I can feel the resentment towards Marie in me and I really tried not to, but the things she said to Joey? GOD. Danielle when I catch you, I swear. Kids are just cruel truly. Poor Aoife she had to endure with the stares and the comments. Thank god for Casey. Also kind of weird how Katie wasn't around them as often right? I don't know, in my head I thought they would be closer or something.

Gibs and Kav were the highlight of the book for me. They just make me laugh so much. Also Edel and John, I just want to hug them, they're such good people. HOW.

I finally know peace. I won't ever mention taking a break because that has not worked, but I do have to read other books so maybe I'll postpone Taming 7 just so I can hold on to them a little longer till another book is in the works. Plus I can't handle another cliffhanger. As of right now both Shannon and Joey are okay and I can move on.
