"I could copy my ass. And leave a rather direct image of what Colton’s missing on his desk. Anonymously, of course."
Colton is her boss and he just caught her copying ass, her first thought is: "Dad’s going to be so pissed at me". I’m done.

The Dare
By: Lauren Landish
Narrated by: Shane East, Carly Robins

Perfect way to start my week, Lauren Landish had me laughing out loud with The Dare! Tiffany and Elle are best friends and to keep thing fun and exciting, play a game daring each other to do things out of their comfort zone. There are boundaries, but when Tiffany dares Elle to get seen by her boss, Colton, she takes it on. And what happens next is something she doesn't expect. Colton is a workaholic, so when he finds Elle in his office, it's a great new distraction. When she ends up working for him, it's in direct competition with her father. Will she be loyal to her boss or report back to her dad? Will their relationship work outside the office or is it just a fling? And what will happen when they go to England together? I loved all the characters, right down to Colton's mom. The dares become part of the flirty package of Colton and Elle, and it's both funny, and endearing as they come up with the next one! It's fast paced, hysterically funny and a blast to listen to. Landish has a flare for writing such great entertainment. It's smart, steamy and so much fun, the time flew by! Keep them coming, I dare Lauren to give us more!

This narration team of Shane East and Carly Robins is amazing. Comedic timing is spot on, the chemistry amazing. They flow from point of views with ease and give us hours of enjoyment. I loved them together!

Hilarious, Crude, Adorable

This book was so refreshingly hilarious. I was laughing it seemed on every page. I’ve read almost all Lauren Landish’s books so I’m not surprising that I love this one too. I’d like to see Tiffany in her own book. Fair warning, this book is crude, fowl, and there’s plenty of dirty jokes so if you are prudish, this is not the book for you. Lol

5 fantastical stars for the funniest book I've read in a long time and not to mention from one of my favorite authors who can never write a bad story. This book had me laughing throughout the whole book if it wasn't the commentary between the best friends it was the dares just too funny. I absolutely fell in love with Elle and Colton and the best friend Tiffany and her drooling for Elle's daddy and the best friend code of no dating daddy.

This is absolutely a must read and one you need to one click.

4 Oh Pineapple stars!!!
This book was a very fun ride but the romance moved very fast. I think that I have been reading many books lately where they span over months instead of weeks so it took me by surprise is all. Both of these characters have the same goal they want to prove their father’s wrong in different ways.

I loved Elle’s corky characteristics, she was so out there and it made her all so much more lovable. The dare’s between her and her best friend really set the story in motion. Elle is a very brave person, she doesn’t hold her tongue. Her cat is so stinking adorable because I can see everything it is doing in the book. The way she sees everything in England is priceless.

Colton is so focused on his new project that he doesn’t even see the world around him, until fate and Elle’s craziness is thrown into his face. He needs some of that craziness in his life. His dares were almost as good as hers, I really liked exploring the world through his eyes. How every time he was with Elle a new side was brought out of Colton. His family was something out of a TV drama it was quite amusing.

This book was quite a fun ride and I enjoyed it very much. I like this author and will continue to keep reading her, I highly suggest it.

Cute

This was a cute story. Colton and Elle were adorable. I adored the relationship she had with her dad. I also liked that there was no dramatic break up.

This is more of a 2.5. Parts of the story were cute, and I liked Colton, but I had a hard time liking Elle.

I stopped at 37%.... mainly because I was getting tired of everything coming down to "I dare you." that annoyed me, which is a bit ironic considering the title of the book is literally, 'The Dare' - ah well. I might revisit this at a later date, when I am more in the mood for a contemporary romance.
