All in all, a useful but incomplete book.
The subtitle would be more accurate if it were "How to plan and think about sci-fi comics." There's very little practical instruction. All the material in the book is valuable and useful, however. A complete guidebook would have to contain the lessons of this book, plus other, more practical ones.
