Anything from Beth O’Leary is an instant read for me, and The Road Trip did not disappoint. Imagine taking a road trip to a wedding with your ex—this setup alone makes it a must-read!
The dual point of view kept me engaged from chapter to chapter, adding depth and keeping the story dynamic. I did a dual read of both the audio and physical book and thoroughly enjoyed both formats. The audiobook narration brought the characters to life, while the physical book allowed me to appreciate O’Leary’s writing.
The Road Trip is a captivating and heartfelt read that I highly recommend. Whether you prefer audio or physical books, this story is sure to entertain.
Overall, I would rate this book a 4/5.

Really enjoyed this, funny and emotional in the perfect amounts. Felt like a realistic relationship with complicated characters.

I enjoyed this book but not as much as some of Beth O'Leary's others. It was a bit slow at times for me.
