This book was all in all pretty interesting, they were really heavy on the dark humor and I wasn’t expecting to laugh while reading something like this.

It’s a why choose situation with three brothers from the mafia. But I wouldn’t say they were particularly pleased sharing the missus. There was a lot of tension and I don’t know if it was a good or bad thing.

Out of the three, I found Anthony to be the most lovable. This man is positively sick and broken but was still such a sweetheart, I wanted to hug him most of the read.

William definitely pissed me off the most, he was being extremely difficult and whiny like the man child he is.

As for the plot, everything was going okay until that plot twist that made little to no sense at all. All it confirmed is that everyone was 🦇💩 crazy in that book lol

Also this book is part of a series that focuses on the same characters, kinda killed my buzz. I do not plan on reading the other two books because I believe the first one is self sufficient

Really loved how this storyline started and the fun darkness that came from it. Loved the characters too. The ending left me wanting a little more, but I truly love the writing and story.

Interesting enough book and pretty dark but with a flair of humor. Anthony is the only person I actually care about in this book and I am curious about the subplot of her mom and a serial killer. However the romances all felt so insta-lovey and the sex scenes happened way quicker than I expected.
I will continue because I’m curious but overall, it’s just an average dark RH.

Oh. My. Gosh. Wow! Cora does it again!!! This was such a beautiful, heartbreaking book that was tragic but so hopeful and sweet at the same time! Some Characters balanced out others and made for such a wholesome book! So so much talent from this author! Such a beautiful tribute to Meemaw! Well done and congratulations on a beautiful new release!

This was SO hyped up by nearly everyone that I've seen read it & I had very high hopes. It started out super well but as it progressed, I just started losing interest.

The book is named Malice, so obviously there is going to be a high amount of emphasis on his character. What bugged me was how he's telling his brothers that if they are going to spend time with Juliet, he has to allow it. I don't like when one guy dictates things for the rest of the group and at least to me, he's clearly her favorite of the brothers.

William has a promising start but he just got whiny as the story went on and the other relationships grew. But Anthony? Anthony is my favorite brother of the trio & as we learned all he went through with being kidnapped and tortured, I was rooting for him so hard as he opened up to Juliet and kind of emerged from the shell he was in.

And can we please stop putting shitty best friends in RH books?! I want the FMC to have one friend she can trust that isn't going to try and kill her. Ugh.

I'll probably still pick up the second book to see what happens as a result of the book one ending but I'm hoping things will turn around with their attitudes.

3.5 Stars

As a dark RH Mafia read I thought this book would have more - more violence, more smut, higher stakes. It just fell a little flat for me. I still enjoyed reading it, but it just didn't hit my expectations like I thought it would.
