Juliet has had a tough start to life. Her mother went missing one day after work and was never seen or heard from again. Juliet’s grandmother took over her care but lately her Parkinsons has gotten so much worse that Juliet feels like she can’t leave her alone. Since graduating high school, she has been working the overnight shift at a local diner. Her best friend Vicky comes in every Thursday evening to chat and the thing about Vicky is, she is a part of the Kansas City mob. Juliet knows that she can’t ask Vicky questions and she likes it that way. One night Vicky drops a huge bomb on her, she is leaving the country and doesn’t know when she will be coming back. As Vicky leaves Juilet chases after her and comes face to face with the Kansas City mob boss Malice. He doesn’t trust that Juliet knows nothing and takes her. How will Juliet survive and who really is Malice? This is a mafia, forced proximity, why choose romance. Please check the trigger warnings before reading. I enjoyed the book a lot but thought the MFC Juliet was a bit too annoying and whiny for me. The three brothers are all hot and each has such a distinct personality. I wish there was some group spicy scenes but overall it was a good book.

This book was not what I was expecting. The relationships were different from other RH books and not as predictable.

Honestly so good. So so good. I love the dynamic of the reverse harem. I feel like most books everyone just accepts it because they love her but the author has an amazing dynamic of the three here. Love it!

Wow! What a ride! Coralee June has taken the reverse harem trope and gave it her own twist. Very rarely do you come across one with an actual story, but I’m thrilled to say that this one does indeed have one!

Juliet lived a lonely life, working long hours to pay for her ailing grandma’s medical issues, when she meets Vicky she can’t believe she has an actual friend. Three years later her life is dramatically changed when she meets Vicky’s three brothers.

This book has all sorts of dark and twisty things that could possibly trigger some, but I think it went along with the depth of the story. Coralee is good at writing dark, she’s good at writing complex characters with strengths and vulnerabilities that make this story what it is.

I’m glad I took the chance on this one!

y'all this was kinda gooood...

"Which brother was waiting for me? Anthony, the tragic yet quirky ally? William, the man I’d seen every week for three years but barely knew? Or Malice—Nicholas—the devil in a suit?"

I love a good RH with courting and "dating" and Malice definitely delivered on that! The characters were playful, rough and drool-worthy. The entire time, I was trying to decide which one I liked the most...and even now I still don't know
