3,5 ⭐(first thoughts)
I'm conflicted about this book. On one side I'm disappointed on the dynamic in their relationship, it's not a RH when
:::The Spoilers Start to rain down:::
she's with one and he allows the other to have her. And this supposedly fighting for her independence woman just accepts it and traps the other two with her declarations no matter if they want or don't want it.. Another thing i didn't like was Cora and how it went. In uplifting our boys we only smack her down, like wtf! How is she badass and conviniently nothing at the same time?!? And the whole friendship was just.. yuck. The start was unrealistic af. What happened at the house tho, that was inspired, i liked that!
I liked that she was fucked up, because writers save us from wholesome-virginal-know-it-alls.. ok, i love my teaching/corrupting trope, but sometimes i need a "normal" fucked up girl.
I'm just rambling at the point so i'll stop. Hopefully we'll get more three dimensional characters with more agency in the next book.
