This book was so hyped up and I was very excited to read it, I mean who doesn’t love anything with dark alpha mafia men? But this book fell way short on what it could have been. I feel like the author could have been a little deeper. I feel like instead of emotions it was like reading facts. Just touched the surface. I thought it was going to be a little darker than that. It was an ok book but could have been so much more.
Sometimes you wear a dress, and it looks as if the dress is wearing you, and not the other way around. Coralee June grabbed the Mafia Romance genre and made it her bitch. She strutted that runway and did so flawlessly.
Malice is a Mafia Romance RH between the main character Juliet and the three Civella brothers: Nick, Anthony and William. Juliet worked at a diner where she met her best friend, Vicky, every Thursday night. Vicky is a mafia princess and set some boundaries, which include not telling anything about her personal life, in order to keep Juliet safe. Against all her efforts, Vicky and Juliet’s friendship was found out by Vicky’s older brother, Malice / Nick, and this is where our story begins.
I loved it. Like a lot. I have never read someone writing and RH the way she did, but I loved it. The dynamics between the characters are so good. One of the things I liked the most is that MC was a curvy girl, and we’re here for it. Gonna be honest, the book gave me a little bit of a whiplash, but I won’t say I didn’t enjoyed it. Major Den of Vipers vibes, but this one it was deliciously executed. 10/10, would definitely recommend.

Wth, like what did i just read. Ok let me just tell that the last 70% was horrible but 90% was just let me put bleach in my brain to forget what i read. Literally what the hell is this. This is supposed to be a standalone? A dark rh?
Not a bad standalone. Well written, engaging story, and developed characters. The pacing was perfect and was an enjoyable read.
