It's fine, but I feel like I never knew any of the character well. My favorite was the girl in the snowboard group, Hanne, I think was her name. None of the names ever stuck with me.

I love the snowboarding setting; I will definitely read the second if only for the setting.

This book was so good. It was a bit long, but the reader gets to see the full evolution of their relationship, both the good and bad parts and how they grow from it. Also, snowboarding and the settings that they were in were described so well, you felt like you were really there and could see them.

I did a reread with the audio version and the narrators are fantastic. The way they read the story somehow makes you feel exactly what the characters are feeling. Very emotional and angsty.

The cast of characters is great and the author uses them well so it doesn’t feel like a story with just the main characters in it.

this book. sigh. I've been in a horrible slump. nothing has been holding my attention, I've been bored, listless when I try and read. and then at a friend's insistence, I picked this up. I wasn't expecting much. but wow. WOW. I seriously loved every second of this book. I love the writing, the character, the story. I need the next book yesterday. I'm not ready to let the characters, this world, go. please please please. I need more False Kings!

This book blew me away. Omg Chase yum. I loved how the main characters developed. The plot and background was awesome. The book also has a great pace to it. Brooke and Chase are both very cold and closed off because of their past. I enjoyed seeing them grow in this book.

Snowboarder’s Romance Dream

I really had no expectations going into this book. I have never read a book by Harper Dallas. And I have to say I am very pleasantly surprised. The book is long for a romance novel, but I didn’t find it to be annoyingly long or to not have enough plot or character to back up the length. It would’ve been really cool to see a dual POV with Chase. But I also understand that not having his point of view provided a mystery about him and made the slow burn have wild effects. Overall, I would 100% read this book again and would recommend it to any of my romance reading friends.
