Way too confusing and not enough answers for my taste.
Also, I find that this worked better as a movie (I loved that one) because the entirety of Area X is very visual and a book told in diary format is not. In addition to that does the movie more embrace the horror aspects of the story and got very terrifying (for a non-horror watcher).
I'm still very interested in more answers, which is why I will be continuing with the series, even though I'm very sure I won't be getting those .-.
