For anyone who has been anxiously awaiting Jace’s story, you will not be disappointed. I am so excited to see Jace growing up and becoming his own person. Unfortunately, he has lost his way a little bit and found himself in some trouble. One of those nights produces the biggest shock of his life when he discovers he is a father. I love the way that Bella weaved some of the events from Shaken into the story.
Indy is devastated when she doesn’t get a job as a kindergarten teacher for the school year. Luckily she hears about someone wanting to hire a nanny. Reluctantly she takes the job and is surprised when the father is Jace who she briefly met months earlier. This was a VERY fast burn. Jace is in instant love with Indy and is ready to give her everything already.
Jace is even swoonier than I anticipated. Him becoming a dad? Holy hotness! The way he embraced fatherhood made him so much more lovable. If you know anything about the Kingston family then you know to expect lots of interference and hilarious text threads! I would have liked to see more time pass throughout Indy & Jace’s relationship even if just stated that it was weeks later because this romance moved insanely fast. This book is full of all the things I love from Bella and can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeves for Becks.
