I really don’t enjoy the miscommunication trope and this was almost a DNF for me because it was so frustrating. Maybe my own fault for not checking the trope before I started; but I usually love me some Saxon James book, so I went in blindly.
Anyways, it was still nice getting to read Fe and Marshall’s story, just not my favourite trope. Cute though!

I like to think I have a very high tolerance for miscommunication in books, because it usually doesn't deter me. However... this book really tested my limits =(
Aside from that, I also didn't find the characters to be as interesting and the conflicts felt so contrived and sloppy that the angst couldn't keep me engaged either. Eh. This just wasn't for me, which is a shame because I LOVE [a:Saxon James|19404191|Saxon James|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1642498003p2/19404191.jpg]'s books, so please give their other books a try if this one doesn't work for you!
