I really wanted to like this book. I knew there was some miscommunication but at over halfway through the book they still were not talking.
I was excited to have a demi sexual MC but he was poorly represented I found and at over 65% had still not told Felix.

Felix is a flighty flirt, but actually not. He’s had his fun, but wants someone who really cares about him, and not just getting him into bed.

Marshall is a sweet big lug of a guy, but he’s also a demisexual virgin. Their wires cross on a blind date, leaving Felix feeling rejected and Marshall confused.

They then become roommates, and Marshall realizes he wants Felix like no one before. They hook up, but again, Felix jumps to conclusions, and Marshall is determined to give all his efforts to the guy he’s enamoured with.

Sweet story, and when Felix slows down long enough he can see how much Marshall cares, truly.

I loved this! At times I did want to bash both MC’s for their constant mixed signals, especially Marshall, but it was so cute.

Triple threat

First, I bow down to whichever author or authors in this fantastic series choose the hilarious and witty acronyms. I only wish my school was so creative. Second, I love all the connections in this series and especially all the connections in this book. Bro my god, they’re *chef’s kiss*. Third, feisty Felix knows how to put the drama in dramatic but he is unforgettable. Fourth, I want Marshmallow, allllll for me, all mine. I flove him. “Everything. You’re every single thought, decision, and daydream I have. Every single day.” Gah, this guy, I love his sweetness, how he’s essentially a giant teddy bear, his never-ending well of patience with everyone, and the amazing ways he cares and shows it. He’s a swoony dream come true and I hope he never runs out of surprises, seen and unseen. So many laughs, so many heart squishes, and so much pure joy, The Dating Disaster has stolen my heart.
