Honestly, I feel like it makes a confusing world even more unnecessarily confusing.

I really enjoyed this novella all from Kelsiers POV throughout the era 1 mistborn books.
It was the best thing, in my opinion, to read after I had finished Bands of Mourning. It really helped add to the world building and some of the more cosmere related things going on.

This book was a good addition that helped tie up some loose ends of the first three book.
I personally think that if Kelsier wasn’t taking a good chunk of Ruin’s attention that Ruin would’ve won. As I was thinking about Preservation’s power I also thought of how Preservation couldn’t kill so why did He stab Elend? Well, Kelsier played a role in that. This book is important to help answer a few more of those questions
