Many secrets and also a much needed father daughter reunion that I definitely cried while reading. I am definitely worried that Kelsier will not learn from Vin’s final words to him.

While short, Secret History is rife with implications for the Cosmere and exciting callbacks to events of the Mistborn trilogy.

So you’re telling me, Sazed apparently did in fact have the power to put Vin and Elend back into their bodies but they chose not to? And Kelsier still doesn’t get to see his wife?

I suppose it was worth the read just to read Kelsier calling Vin his daughter.

I just...I don't know. I don't like how the greater good of this world and the events in the last book take on the form of...... Kelsier's ghost??? Like ...come on. Let the man die. Great story though and I finished it in half a day.

Slight spoiler....

Sanderson filled in a lot of gaps I didn't know were there in the final Mistborn book. Instead of my original presumption that our hero characters Vin, Spook, and Marsh had a predominantly good soul....were actually due to Kelsier's typical shenanigans and whisperings. Yup.

Kelsiers waving his arms around asking the air....Am I a God??? The actual gods say no. He Precedes to be a God and do godly things anyway....

The lips talking from the ground bit was hilarious.

I wouldn’t say the writing is flawless, but the secret plot point intersections with the main trilogy were interesting. I read this after era 1 so everything was still fresh in my mind.
