There were some interesting things about this book, but overall, I just didn't think the story was great. There wasn't a whole lot to it, and even though it kept my interest enough to keep me reading, it certainly wasn't memorable.

I had a hard time really caring about the characters. Some of the women were just silly, and I found their actions a bit unrealistic at times. The book was also extremely crude and had quite a bit of language, which isn't really my thing either. I don't think I'd recommend this one, as I've read a lot of better chick lit.

I loved this book. I it fun!!!! And I loved how Zadie was so down to earth. She describes that she believes spending two hundred dollars on attire for a toddler is insane. She is real in a world of fakes. I loved this character. I loved the raunchiness of the book. And I loved that I could relate with Zadie on the dating scene. Excellent read.

Just finished this book it was a very easy read and very funny. It's not one of those books you remember for years to come or that you would re-read a couple of times but I'm glad I read it. If your looking for a quick, funny, easy book to read this one won't disappoint.

I'm 31. The protagonist is 31. Both female. But I couldn't relate to her at all, and though that isn't a problem at all times, I just cannot stand books were sex has to be mentioned on every page. I am not a prude, but this was unnecessary, sleazy and I felt like the author tried to be so "cool."

Couldn't finish.

P.S. having an orgasm while in the gym working out? REALLY?
P.P.S. Did I mention a woman's need to masturbate while driving?

I definitely picked this up based on the blurb about "Legally Blonde" on the cover. That being said, it really tainted my impression of the novel, because what I ended up reading was essentially a bad version of The Hangover.

Zadie has been left at the altar by her soap-opera-star fiance. Her best friend is now marrying her cousin. And her life is spiraling out of control. But she becomes a bridesmaid and the party starts when Zadie encourages the bride-to-be to drink. Things get out of hand. Zadie makes some very, very poor choices. Let me be very specific here:
SpoilerZadie is a teacher and sleeps with one of her students. We are supposed to get over that fact because the student is 19. But let's be very, very clear: this is an abuse of power and is wrong, wrong, wrong, and I cannot believe all of the Hollywood starlets that put blurbs on this book skimmed right over that. I guarantee if a male teacher slept with his 19-year-old high school student, it would be a very different reading. No one would approve of that. I don't approve of this.

Not funny. Just kind of crass and not in a great way. Zadie is also an awful person (see spoiler above if you dare) and I cannot recommend this book.

It had lots of sarcasam. Was like the hangover movie for chicks. Had issue wither her use of "retard" and her relationship with her high school student. I just imagined he was in college not high school and I was able to get over it since it was an interesting relationship that had an impact on her.
