I enjoyed this book because it really helped me reflect on life and how we can live many different lives within one lifetime. I didnt give it 5 stars mostly because of the writing. There were parts that were way too wordy and could’ve been brought down to a few sentences. There were also pieces of information and characters that seemed irrelevant. I agree with others when they say it is very illogical in the sense of how the character is surrounded with the same friends for 50 years and how they are all so successful.

I’ll be thinking about Jude for the rest of my life, probably. 

Was a little egregious with some assumptions of different groups.

Also a little too violent towards the disabled for me, in a way that did not enhance the plot or character development.

Jude didn’t need his experiences sandblasted on his forehead in order to be understood.

1000 trigger warnings wouldn't be enough, this book is DARK. Be forewarned.   I did sob at one point, which made me rate it higher, because it points to the strength of the character/relationship development in the story. But tbh I found most of the characters unlikeable and not in a way that seemed intended by the author.
