Ruthie is a homebody who has worked at the front desk of a retirement villa for years and is finally interested in undertaking the necessary actions in order to improve her social life and possibly even starting to date and put herself out there. Teddy aspires to own his own tattoo studio and is trapped by the limitations of his father’s expectations of him. Despite being the opposite of what Ruthie is looking for in a man the two of them beginning spending all their free time together and Teddy is determined to convince Ruthie that despite not being what she wants, he is what she needs.
I loved this book! The turtle added a fun and quirky element to the plot and the characters were all extremely entertaining and loveable. The character’s living in the retirement villa were all entertaining and their stories were fascinating. Were definitely recommend to fans of good girl/bad boy romances and people who enjoy a hero who quietly pines for the heroine.
