I have so many questions and barely any answers. What in the living hell did I just finished? What was this book? Why is this book? I’m confused, not disgusted because rarely does anything bothers me, but this was weird, and I like weird, but this, this was on another level of weird.

So many things I had to re-read because I wasn’t sure I read correctly and the beginning was so boring I almost dnf it. So many things happened to me and to the town of Lavpona at the same time. Would I recommend? Absolutely, it was weird, so yes.

The abuse, religious tone, masochictic/sadistic, and sexual content is not for me.

I went into this wanting something similiar to A Certain Hunger or Bunny but historical, but instead got fucked up medieval lord and abusive father. I may return to it, but just not what I wanted at the time with an un engaging writing style.
