A much lighter read than some of my current books. But, appealed very much to my inner science geek.

2.5 stars. I loved the premise, but not the execution. Too bad, because YA books with girls loving science are nonexistent.

Cute middle school book about friendship, family and finding "your passion". Love that science turned out to be Ellie's passion even with friends and parents steering her in other directions. Quirky and cute coming of age story.

A lighthearted and fun adventure into science and the idea of the fountain of youth. I enjoyed the presentation and the style of the author. My only complaint is that I wanted more. The story seemed to stop rather than wrap up.

Soooooo a grandpa makes an age formula and turns himself back into a teen. He goes to his daughter and granddaughter. The granddaughter helps him and becomes friends. The daughter makes her father go to school. The book uses a great reference to a play "Our Town" and the granddaughter teaches the grandpa a lesson. Interesting book.

Definitely a good book for 6th grade students -- it has a bit of a "Freaky Friday" vibe but with some twists. This is also a good book to have discussions dealing with ethics in science.

Interesting premise for an elementary level book. Eleven year old Ellie's grandpa is a scientist who through the experimentation of jellyfish is able to reverse aging. He comes to live with Ellie and her mom as a teenage boy. There are some great moments about growing pains (figuratively and literally), viewing the world through a scientific lens, and being a middle school aged kiddo. Would be great for a class read aloud.

I got this book from NetGalley.

Cute. More later.
