This was such a quick, fun read with a phenomenal audiobook! The full cast really makes these books so immersive. However, I was somewhat thrown off by extra POV's from characters not involved in the main romance of this series. They provided really interesting context in this world but it was still an odd experience.
I was absolutely floored by all the revelations in this book and I am BEYOND excited to see where Nikki St. Crowe takes us on our next adventure!

Not nearly as spicy as the previous books. It all came together in the end so quickly. I thought for sure the cat firecracker was going to play a larger role.

i would've given it 4 stars if there weren't so many POVs from Vane and Asha (i have to admit, i love Asha, but i think one POV would've been enough). personally, it seems to me that they took away from the main characters' spotlight. anyway, the retelling of roc, hook, and wendy is definitely my favorite. i love their chemistry, and i just adore that the three of them get the best of both worlds.
now, vane and roc, what pieces of men. their brotherhood was amazing and how vane, wendy, and hook were his anchor (vane with his blood and wendy and hook with their love) was beautiful.
that wonderland detail FASCINATED me, and iām dying to know what happened between roc, vane, and alice (and uncle)!
