while I love vane and winnie - they were wayyyy too present in a romance that DOESNT INVOLVE THEM. I was ROBBED. I WANTED MORE SCENES AND MORE ROMANCE AND MORE OF THEM IN GENERAL.

and the next book is gonna be a PREQUEL. you have got. to be kidding me.

I still liked it tho idk why i'm complaining.

I am a huge fan of this world, so nothing in this world can be bad! I loved the reveal of who Roc & Vane were and I would love to see more from wonderland...

General Thoughts: I love Roc. He is maybe one of my favorite characters of all time. I have always loved a rogue character, and Roc is one of the best. He is just chef's kiss. I love how he was written so much. I also love the dynamic between him and Captain Hook so much. Nikki St. Crowe has such a way of writing such brilliant scenes and quotes that stick with you.

This is a short read. I wanted a bit more. I was hoping Wendy would come into her own a bit more than she did here. But I love Captain Hook and Roc and their dynamic. I wanted to see a bit more of the dynamic of the three of them.

However, I still really enjoyed this one. I'm becoming a huge fan of Nikki St. Crowe. If you need some books to get you out of a book slump, this duology is the one. Or if you want a fun, quick read, this is the one. Or you just want a great read, this is also the one. You get the idea.

Spice Meter: ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥.5 Spicy. Definitely a large part of the book.
