If I could give it ten stars I would. This book was amazing the wrap up for Hook, Wendy and Rocs story was everything you could want. Add in the brother vibes with Roc and Vane. The nod to the lost boys with sneak peak moments with Vane and Winnie, and Winnie and Wendy meeting finally. And top it all off you get a hopefully look at possibly future story of a new character Asha. And the twists that twisted so hard I accidentally hit hurt myself I was so surprised at the end. Another masterful story by Nikki St. Crowe.

Dark and adventurous. Wraps up a lot of the plot lines from book one nicely. Would never, ever complain if Nikki wanted to write a 275 page story instead of her usual 190-210 range. I’d love to have more of her story-telling.

I’m kind of bummed about this book. The first book in the Devourer of Men series so hot and heavy and kept you on your toes. This one fell kind of flat for me. The story was getting too weird for me. At times , it was hard to follow and there were only two spicy scenes so that was disappointing.

3.75 ⭐️ The author really loses a lot in her unyielding commitment to writing short novels. The stories really could be amazing if they had just a bit more development. But they are fun, I do like the characters, and love to get more of the POVs of past favorites.

I am so disappointed in this book! I have been eagerly awaiting it and… meh. I wanted more Roc and Hook and less of anything else. And Alice in Wonderland, really? Such an overrated story with a cult following that I do not understand.

I just LOVE Nikki St. Crowe’s twisted and dark reimagining of Peter Pan and the other characters from the original fairytale. Her written really lets you get lost in these fantasy worlds and never want to leave the Seven Isles!
This book could be read as a standalone but …I would highly recommend you read the Vicious Lost Boys series first to get the full effect of these characters.
Even though this book is short …to me it covers a lot of ground and now I’m curious to read more about the past lives of the “Madd Brothers ~
Vane & Roc “ and hopefully take their rightful place on the Darkland throne!
Especially since one of their ancestors might be from a different fairytale world ( *hint “We are all mad here”) I wouldn’t mind a little spicy “Alice through the looking glass “ reimagining!! 🪞🎩
I would also love to read more about the dark & mysterious Peter Pan too . He seems to get a bad rap in these stories but I’m so curious about him!
Overall Nikki St. Crowe will always have fan in me ! I always have so much fun reading her Peter Pan reimagining stories and I always get so excited when she puts out a new adventure!! I highly recommend this series!
