At first I wasn't sure I would like this book. It was interesting, but I thought maybe a little to kiddie for me. But I kept reading & I really enjoyed it. It had a definite Peter Pan feel to it with the lost children & the McGill monster. Definitely excited for the next one

Nick and Allie were complete strangers in different cars on their way to different places. The only thing they have in common is that they weren’t wearing their seatbelts when the two cars collided. They knocked each other off course on their way to the light at the end of the tunnel and end up in Everlost. They are ghosts that have no place in the living world, but they didn’t get to where spirits belong. Nick and Allie have to learn the dangers that now threaten them. If they aren’t careful, they could sink to the center of the earth, fall into a rut forever, or get attacked by the McGill. They must find a way to finish their journey down the tunnel with the light at the end.
I didn’t really like it a whole lot. The plot was slow moving and nothing really happened. No language or violence or PG-13 material.

Everlost was an interesting and entertaining read that feels like there is more once you get to the end. I would definitely recommend it. It was recommended to me by my fiance, and I quite enjoyed it, and plan to read the next book in the trilogy now that I know there is more.
I really enjoyed Everlost and had a hard time putting it down when I got to the last third. Intriguing look into a place that lies between where the souls of lost children wander and live in dead zones, places that have crossed over like the Twin Towers. I enjoyed the twists and turns the characters took. Allie and Nick are definitely different kids at the end compared to the beginning, as was most of the characters we meet. There were some good surprises at the end. I would definitely read more of this series.

This wasn’t my favorite Neal Shusterman book but I love his Unwind and Scythe series so I definitely want to continue working my way through his backlist.
I liked the large cast of characters and how each of them had their own arc across the course of the book. I’m definitely interested to see what happens in the rest of the trilogy.

This is a book I started and stopped once before. It's a bit slow to get going but once it does, I really liked it. It's kind of Peter Pan meets Narnia meets Casper...I don't even know but it's interesting and fairly original. It's very much kind of a "quest" and it is a little young but not immature in it's writing or concepts.
