I enjoyed reading another mystery, along with learning more about Nash and Xander.
but this is definitely my least favourite out of the series. i feel like it didn’t need such an emphasis on the love triangle if Avery chose Jameson at the end of last book..
eve felt like such an oc? she felt weirdly and annoyingly placed a lot.

I want to say this book was the worst in the series, but it almost wasn't. I think for sure it is tied with first book for which one is worst. While the first book was boring, it had a good plot. This book had a bad plot but was interesting. One thing though, I read all the books back-to-back and I feel like they are staring to blend together.

The main plot of this book (Eve/her family) wasn't a strong plot. I don't think this book was really needed. Yes, we got more of Toby's family drama, but did we really need it... I thought this book could have been so much better.

Even though I have been bashing on the plot, the book kept me interested. I wasn't really interested in the plot; I was more interested in the relationship between Avery and the Hawthrone brothers.

I always wait about 5-10 days to gather my thoughts on the book before writing a review. It's only been 10 days since I finished the book, and I am having a hard time remembering a lot of things in the book. I think this goes to show how much I really enjoyed the book.

I thought the epilogue was nice and definitely needed. I am super excited for the next book to come out. I just hope it's better.

This is a good finish to a really fun YA series! The mystery aspect was just as compelling as the first two books and the ending is really satisfying. Barnes’s writing style isn’t my personal favorite (I don’t love the angst of the main character’s inner dialogue or the cheesiness of the jokes between side characters), but I also recognize that I’m not the target age range for her books. I would definitely recommend this for any YA readers who love a good mystery with lots of fun plot twists!

One of the best series I've read in my life. Incredible.
I'm so so unbelievably sad it's over. I can't even.
