I really enjoyed this trilogy! Fun to read but even more fun to listen to as audiobooks. I really love the many characters we got to meet and follow through those three books.
I really liked Avery, she was a good MC, I could trust her to make the right decisions. The plot of this last book had me drawing a family tree to understand who was related to who :,)
I am going to miss the riddles and games as well as the Hawthorne brothers… Would recommend to someone who wants loveable characters, mystery and enigmatic plots and romance!

I'm in love. This series has become one of my absolute favorites, without a doubt.
I have to say this one was the one that tested my patience the most. I think I have never felt angrier reading a book.
The way everything takes a turn, the tension, the betrayals... This was everything and more. It exceeded my expectations.
Avery Grambs has become one of my favorite female characters I've ever read about. I'll be thinking about Jameson Hawthorne for months. Every single character was so beautifully written. I absolutely adore them all.

SPOILER
UNDER THE CUT

Avery and Toby's father-daughter relationship stuck with me. I cried so much with their scenes. It's definitely one of the most memorable things in this book.

END OF SPOILER

The author's writing style has got to be one of my favorites. The descriptions were so vibrant, so full of life. I wasn't reading the story, I was LIVING it.
Jennifer Lynn Barnes has earned another loyal reader.

It was a decent book, although it could have had a better ending. It fell flat compared to the first two books endings.
