I was skeptical, but this was a very promising start to a series. I'm not crazy in love with every character or plotline, but already I find them more intriguing than parts of ACOTAR. Our protagonist is much more interesting and better developed than Feyre ever was. the world is interesting, and I'm excited to see where we go from here.

Cool cool cool so what the fuck IS this love triangle. I don't feel like I will survive it.
Celaena is a pain in my ass to be fair but I do love her. She do be traumatized though.
It's funny how every man she gets in contact with falls in love with her.

This was a good first book in the series. It definitely reads YA, and it didn't blow me away, but I'm excited to see where the characters and world-building go, especially since Maas did a good job setting up the story. I wasn't a huge fan of the love triangle, but mostly because I didn't buy the chemistry between the characters, although I could see that changing as the characters are more fully developed.
