I don’t like multiple POVs and figured out the whodunnit aspect about a third of the way in, but it was interesting enough to hold my attention to the end of the book. I don’t feel the need to read the sequels.

Oh boy, this was a quick, but dissappointing read. The way mental illness and suicide is handled in this book is beyond bad. Take almost everything problematic from "13 reasons why" and mix it with a breakfast club type cast and you got this book. Sad to see that authors still handle triggering topics like suicide in such awful, careless ways. Extremely graphic and triggering. On top of that, the ending and reveal were rather unsatisfying.
2.5 stars and those are purely for my love for Nate's character.

Here's my entire list of content warnings:
- sexism, slut-shaming, bullying, homophobia
- drugs, addiction
- discussions of cancer
- suicide discussed (detailed), extremely triggering; ableism, saneism, demonizing mental illnesses
- parental neglect
- possible misgendering
- school shootings discussed
- controlling boyfriends
- forced coming out as LGBTQ+
