The title should be “tis a pity your brother is a crazy annoying creep” or “tis a pity both your kids are crazy”. This book isn’t even bad in a fun way, it’s just gross.

Yeah no this was pretty awful. For some reason I thought this was going to be comedy, but that was not the case. If it had been, I feel like there would have been some redeemable qualities, instead all you get is the most devious incest plot, smack in the middle of the play at that.
I really don’t know what the goal of the author was, or if this was just the way English people rolled in the 1600s. It’s just so incredibly random and bizzarre, ultimately blaming the girl for it, blurry consent all over, weird enablers all around, man it was rough.

I'm not a fan of plays generally, but I love this play. Though the book is about incest, I can't help but love it and find it interesting and funny- as well as shocking. It's a juicy play and one you will probably cringe at

Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet... if they were brother and sister, and the verse was easier to digest.

Nothing to do with the Bowie song, and everything to do with incest. That said, it’s a romp!
