pros: very sweet and heartwarming, really likable MCs, spice is good (🌶️🌶️/5), really funny, no 3rd act breakup
cons: pacing and structure was kinda all over the place. you’d completely forget about a subplot and then it’d be brought up again and your like “oh yeah, i forgot that was a thing”. sometimes felt like it was forcing the dynamic set-ups for subsequent books, wasn’t seamlessly woven into the plot. there was also just sooo many characters holy cow i couldn’t keep up with them at all.
this book will make you cry, laugh out loud, and swoon. it’s pretty low-angst even thought there are very heavy topics and conversations. a little bit cringy at times but i don’t mind that in a romance. i’d recommend
